In the opening verse of Sura An-Nisaa’, Allah says: Fear your lord Who created you from a single person, created, of like nature, his mate and from the two of them scattered (like seeds) countless men and women;― Be conscious of Allah, through Whom ye demand your mutual (rights) and (show reverence towards) the wombs (that bore you): for surely, Allah ever watches over you.” It is the main message that Allah send the people through all his messengers And We sent not before you any messenger except that We revealed to him that, "There is no deity except Me, so worship Me." One of the first things that Allah told Moses when he talk to him directly at the holy valley
Indeed, I am Allah . There is no deity except Me, so worship Me and establish prayer for My remembrance. To emphasize this meaning . The messenger Salla Allah Aleyh w sallam said that this is the best to "لا إله إلا الله" ما تعطَّرَت الأفواه وتحرَّكَت الشِّفاه بأحسنَ منها، قال - عليه الصلاة والسلام -: «خيرُ ما قلتُ أنا والنبيُّون من قبلِي: لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له، له المُلكُ وله الحمدُ، وهو على كل شيء قدير»؛ رواه الترمذي. O Son of Adam, were you to come to Me with sins nearly as great as the Earth, and were you then to face Me, ascribing no partner to Me, I would bring you forgiveness nearly as great as it [too]. Tawheed is the greatest aim. Who misses tawheed misses his way out (safety) and who reached it then he reaches the main reasons of the forgiveness of Allah.
The people who has tawheed in their hearts are blessed and others benefit from them Even the dead people benefits from the people who have Tawheed. If any Muslim dies and forty men who associate nothing with Allah stand over his prayer (they offer prayer over him), Allah will accept them as intercessors for him. The intercession of the prophet will only be gained by the people who have Tawheed in their hearts I said: "O Allah's messenger! Who will be the luckiest person, who will gain your intercession on the Day of Resurrection?" Allah's messenger said: The luckiest person who will have my intercession on the Day of Resurrection will be the one who said sincerely from the bottom of his heart "None has the right to be worshipped but Allah." Tawheed opens all the 8 gates of Jannah If anyone amongst you performs the ablution, and then completes the ablution well and then says: I testify that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the servant of Allah and His Messenger, the eight gates of Paradise would be opened for him and he may enter by whichever of them he wishes. Say, "I am only a man like you, to whom has been revealed that your god is one God. So whoever would hope for the meeting with his Lord - let him do righteous work and not associate in the worship of his Lord anyone." Ebn Taymeyah had categorized types of tawheed to: 1-Tawheed ar-Ruboobiyyah is singling out Allaah the Exalted with (the actions of) creation, providing sustenance, giving life, causing death, and all of the types of regulation and administration of the dominion of the heavens and earth, and (also) singling Him out, the Exalted, with (the right to) judgement and legislation and sending of the Messengers and revealing of Books. Allaah the Exalted said, إِنَّ رَبَّكُمُ اللَّهُ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ فِي سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ ثُمَّ اسْتَوَىٰ عَلَى الْعَرْشِ يُغْشِي اللَّيْلَ النَّهَارَ يَطْلُبُهُ حَثِيثًا وَالشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ وَالنُّجُومَ مُسَخَّرَاتٍ بِأَمْرِهِ ۗ أَلَا لَهُ الْخَلْقُ وَالْأَمْرُ ۗ تَبَارَكَ اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعَالَمِينَ - 7:54 "Verily, to Him belongs the creation and the command, blessed be Allaah, the Lord of the worlds" (al-A`raaf 7:54). 2-Tawheed al-Uloohiyyah is singling out Allaah with worship so that none besides Him is worshipped, so that none besides Him is called upon, so that no one is sought for rescue, or aid except Him. So that no one is sacrificed to or slaughtered for, or made an oath for, except Him. قُلْ إِنَّ صَلَاتِي وَنُسُكِي وَمَحْيَايَ وَمَمَاتِي لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ - 6:162 لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ ۖ وَبِذَٰلِكَ أُمِرْتُ وَأَنَا أَوَّلُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ - 6:163 Allaah the Exalted said, "Say: My prayer, my sacrifice, my life and my death are for Allaah, the Lord of the worlds. He has no partner. This is what I have been commanded with and I am the first of those who submit (to him with Islaam and Tawheed)" (al-An'aam 6:162), and He said, "Therefore turn in prayer to your Lord and sacrifice (to Him only)" (al-Kawthar 108:2). 3-And Tawheed al-Asmaa was-Sifaat is describing Allaah the Most High and naming Him with whatever He described and named Himself with, and with whatever His Messenger (sallAllaahu `alayhi wa sallam) described and named Him with in the authentic narrations - and to affirm that for Allaah without resemblance (to the creation) or likening (to the creation), and without (false) interpretation (of any of that) or negation (of any of that). There is nothing like Him. There are different ways of defining Tawheed. Some scholars also did not agree with the way of categorization of Ebn Taymeyyah but agree with the core meaning. Types of Shirk (opposite to Tawheed): 2:165 And [yet], among the people are those who take other than Allah as equals [to Him]. They love them as they [should] love Allah .
Have you seen he who has taken as his god his [own] desire, and Allah has sent him astray due to knowledge and has set a seal upon his hearing and his heart and put over his vision a veil? So who will guide him after Allah ? Then will you not be reminded? Is he a slave or a free man? The pride is to be the slave of Allah ONLY. Not to your desires or to money nor to your boss at work.
