My beloved brothers in Islam, It is from Allah’s mercy and blessing that he made for us seasons for worshipping him so that we compete in them and perform good deeds that makes us closer to our creator.
And the successful people in this life are those who make use of those seasons and add as much Hasanat as possible to their records and don’t let these seasons pass by without benefiting from them. And one of the best seasons that Allah () has blessed us with is the one we’re currently witnessing, the 1st 10 days of Dhul- Hijjah.

First Sermon
Dear Muslims, Indeed, Allah prefers some days of the year with the first ten days of Dhul Hijjah being the best ones in this world. About them. the Messenger of Allah pbuh said, “there are no days in this world better than the (first) ten days (of Dhul-Hijjah).” Moreover, Allah swore by them in an indication to their great importance, as He says, “by the dawn. And [by] the ten nights.” (Al-Fajr: 1-2). This means the ten days of Dhul Hijjah are the best days in the year, because during which the best acts of worship are being performed. In these days, Allah has prescribed Hajj to be performed and multiplied His reward for the good doers. The Prophet pbuh said, “no good deeds done on other days are superior to those done on these (first ten days of DhulHijjah)." Then some companions of the Prophet pbuh said, "not even Jihad?" He replied, "not even Jihad, except that of a man who does it by putting himself and his property in danger (for Allah's sake) and does not return with any of those things.” The blessings of Allah, the Almighty, on mankind are innumerable. Amongst the signs of the perfection of His blessings upon us is that He made for us home a peaceful retreat full of comfort and benefits.
In this regard, Allah, the Exalted is He, says, “and Allah has made for you from your homes a place of rest.” (An-Nahl: 80). For this reason, when he went to his bed, the Messenger of Allah pbuh used to say: “All praise is due to Allah, who has fed us and given us to drink, and has sufficed and granted us refuge, and how many are they who have none to suffice them and none to grant them refuge.” My dear brother in Islam,
Muslims are the only people in the world today fortunate enough to possess the word of God preserved in its original form, free from all distortions, and precisely in the wording in which it was sent down upon the Prophet, blessings and peace be on him. Paradoxically, these same Muslims suffer the misfortune of being denied the countless blessings and benefits which the word of God promises to those who believe in it. The Qur'an was sent to them for them to read it, understand it, act upon it, and, with its help, establish on God's earth the rule of His law. The Qur'an came to grant them dignity and power. It came to make them true vicegerents or khalifah of God on earth. And history shows that whenever they acted according to its guidance, it did make them the leaders of the world [1]. The second last month of Islamic Calendar Dhul Qidah has started. It is one of the four sacred months in Islam which precedes Dhul Hijjah. In this month, Battle of Khandaq and Ahzab took place in 5 AH, the first pilgrimage from Madina to Mecca took place in 7 AH, Hajj was made fard in 8AH as well as Truce of Hudaubiyah and Bay’at-e-Rizwaan’ took place in 6 AH. Today’s khutbah is on Treaty of AlHudaybiyah, which establishes many lessons for Muslims as they proceed towards carrying the message of Islam to the world. It demonstrates the need for astute politicians, the requirement of Muslims to build world public opinion towards Muslims and Islam and establishes the strength and resolve of the early Muslims which must be emulated today.
