Prayer Rooms and Mosques in Enschede Prayer (salat) is the second pillar of Islam and thus has a very high priority. One of the struggles of living in a non muslim country is finding a place to pray. However, you do not need to worry as we have compiled a list of places where you can pray in peace
I. Prayer Rooms
Prayer rooms are quite small yet they are very helpful as they are located at the campus. Whenever you have classes and need to pray, you can always come by.
1. University of Twente
The university of twente has one prayer room:
a) Primary prayer room (Vrijhof 302)
This is the main prayer room and it is located on the third floor of the Vrijhof building. It is also used for friday prayers. Friday prayers starts at 12:45 in winter and 13:45 in summer. In front of the prayer room, there is also a ablution (wudhu) room.

Saxion university has only one prayer room. It is located on the ground floor and in order to access it, you need to borrow the key from the front desk. It has a small wash basin that you can use for ablution.

This is a moroccan mosque and can be found near the city centre.
